Dear Ronan,
2 more months where it's just you, me and daddy. 2 more months until you are given the incredible role as a big brother.
We have been going to the zoo a lot. You love to spend time with your cousin Gideon, and play in Sunday school with your friends at church. You are a little over 2 years old, and I am not kidding, you are the most intelligent two year old I have ever known. You catch on so quickly, and communicate so well! You can navigate my phone like an expert ( your grandmas and grandpas cannot do that!) and whenever you see your Grammy Lux you LOVE to play with her "hi pod" (ipod) I don't know what kind of technology will be available when you are older, but I know you will master whatever it is :)
Not only are you smart, and clever, you are so loving and cuddly. Whenever I cry you come hug me and hold me until I stop. You are very affectionate with your hugs and kisses. I know that will change some day so I am trying to soak it up now.
When daddy and I tuck you in at night you NEED Scout ( your favorite toy), your water bottle and your binky. We pray together every night, that God would have big plans for you, and that some day you will trust Him with your life. I believe with all my heart that God DOES have some amazing things in store for you.
Daddy has been teaching you "catch" you LOVE it. You also love to play basketball together. Tomorrow I am setting up a trampoline for you! I think you will have fun jumping all your wiggles out.
When you aren't being your crazy, busy active self you like to watch Backyardigans, Go Diego Go, The movies Tarzan, Tangled, Finding Nemo and Toy Story.
You are very good at any puzzle, you can count to 20, name almost all your colors, all the letters in the alphabet, all your shapes, almost all your body parts and you are starting to read familiar books back to me.
You surprise us with your funny sense of humor alllll the time!!! The other night when Daddy was tucking you in to bed, you pulled him close like you were going to kiss him, then you "beeped" him on the nose. Your dad was so caught off guard. Your daddy loves you so much. Whenever he comes home from work, he immediately hugs and kisses us, and plays with you. You are a very blessed boy.
You have started going pee pee on the potty too :) We always celebrate after you do it, and you are so proud of yourself.
Your Auntie Kristi (whom you love dearly) is going to give you another cousin to play with too!
Soon you will be surrounded by babies, and it will be hard for awhile, but I know you can do it. I know you will be a good big brother and I am so proud of the way you are growing up.
You are so very polite, saying "please" "thank you" your welcome"... Thank you for being YOU. It is a privilege being your mother and I am enjoying all my time with you. I love you!!!!
