I'm back!

I forgot my sd card for my camera for the camping trip :( I will have to wait to snag pics from other people who took them.
It was really fun. A little stressful camping with a baby, I felt like I was always having to get away to pump, which is hard to do in a tent. Or prepare his meals, get him snacks, change his pants and clothes when he got filthy from playing...I kinda felt on the "go" quite a bit, so it was hard to relax... like you're supposed to on VACA lol, but it was still fun seeing family I hadn't seen in a while.
We played on the beach, Ronan loved the sand. He has also become quite the pro at CRAWLING!!! But wait, that's not ALL! His two bottom teeth FINALLY came in!!! So cute <3
He loves "Big people food" and wants to eat everything I am eating. He is growing up so fast, but I am enjoying every stage. I am just so thankful that I am a stay at home mommy and don't have to miss ANYTHING.

We also had my BIL and his new wife come visit with us for a couple of days. It was a delight getting to know her better. Now I am not the only girl on my hubby's side of the family! YAY! She is such a sweetie. I know we will be very close.

OH another thing about the camping trip.... SO WEIRD. We woke up the morning that we were going to leave, and neither my parents or I could find our coolers?? We looked all over thinking it must be a prank. Who would steal cooler, right? I mean, where there is a guitar left out, a bike, other things right next to it holding much more worth... but no... someone stole our coolers! It had all my breastmilk in it... grrrrr, a bunch of meat and other food. Brian and Brandon (BIL) heard from the park ranger that there have been a bum that has been stealing coolers and has been living in the woods. So they went searching through the woods to see what they could find. They found a bum's old run down camping site in the middle of no where with a cooler in it! Unfortunately not ours... If it wasn't weird enough, they found a beer can upside down on a stick, this was apparently some sort of "calling card" or his way of claiming the area because we found another one at another abandoned site, and even WEIRDER, we found a noose. YES a hangman's noose hanging from a low tree branch just swaying in the quiet breeze... ???? So creepy? My FIL cut it down because, well, that is just dangerous with kids around. And also reported it. I have video because I am a dork like that and just may post it LOL.

Anyway it was super fun, weird and exhausting. I am happy to be home and enjoy some quiet time :)

Clueless!!

Still no period, and am currently on cycle day 46!! LOL. For those who don't know or don't count their cycle days. It begins the first day of menses. So that would mean that in a regular cycle, women bleed every 28 days.... it's been 46 DAYS since my last menses! Obviously it's because of my PCOS, and probably due to nursing/ breastfeeding. But wow... What is even weirder is that I am NOW getting fertile CM! Once again for those who aren't familiar with fertility, or reproduction jargon, this is an acronym for cervical mucus. and YES this is TMI for a lot of people, but not most of my followers ;)
I find it hard to believe though that at cd 46 I would be ovulating, but I guess we'll find out in 15 days though. I am too cheap to buy opk's right now, so I will just have to wait it out. This has most definitely been the longest cycle I have ever had in a veeeery long time.

This week we are going camping!! Ronans first camping trip! I am so excited to see my family! I can't wait to post pictures :)

The summer is almost over! Can you believe it? I hope everyone has a wonderful week. You probably won't hear from me until next week.
Until then my friends!!!

8 months already!!

My little boy is 8 months old! I cannot believe how fast its going by... oh and FYI my apostrophe button isnt working. Ronan got to my lap top and messed with the button. Oh well, i never claimed to have perfect grammar to begin with :)

We have had a tough week dealing with financial problems associated with the economy. I am sure many of you are feeling the impact in some form or another. I am not going to go into the details of how its impacting our family, but what I will say is that during this time of fear, frustration and trial, I find it SO comforting that I dont have to worry! Its my first instinct of course, but sooner rather than later I find its pointless.
Thank God he sees the big picture!!! I have so much peace about our current situation, and find it odd that it takes something like this to rattle me around and remind me of the purpose of my life here. To use my time wisely, to LOVE God, to LOVE others. I am more grateful for my role as a wife and stay at home mom then I have ever been. I want to be the best home maker I can be. I want to greet my husband when he comes home with a kiss. Give him the safe haven he needs to relax at the end of his work day and love and cuddle him :) I want my child to know that his mommy is always here for him. I want him to feel safe and build the kind of self esteem that will eventually develop him into a strong young man.
I want him to learn about our Heavenly Father, and see Him in our every day lives. I want to be a mama that EXAMPLES Gods love, not just teaches it.

Thank you Lord that I can trust you when things seem lost. When financial problems happen. We can trust you. Thank you for my husband who loves you So much. Thank you for our beautiful son who, I pray will love you too someday.

I am a blessed woman!!! Look at my adorable little boy!!!!

"After you have a baby, your body will figure it out"

HA!!! Yeah, right. Not MY body. I can't count the number of times I have heard this. I actually thought this might have been the case. As most of you know, or read, I started my period like 4 months post pardum, pretty soon for a nursing mama! Since then my cycles have averaged around 33 days. Normal for even a medicated ovulatory cycle! I was pretty impressed, and thinking I may even get a shot of "trying" a little before moving on to medical assistance... until this cycle came and went. I'm on day 40, I keep getting my cramps, but no period.... And no, I am not pregnant. I picked up a test at the store today, and it was negative. If I inspected *really* hard I can see where a dark line SHOULD be, but isn't... so not pregnant, just back to my whacky old cycles, arg.
Oh well, life could DEFINITELY be worst and I am thankful I can even GET pregnant with a little help from injectible meds. I guess I just sorta hoped to be "normal" for a little while longer :/

Ronan still has no teeth haha. Poor guy wakes up 3-4 times a night in agony. He falls quickly back to sleep most nights, but I just want those teeth to come out already, and stop causing my son grief!!
He will be 8 months old tomorrow. Where has the time gone?????

Matthew West - Safe and Sound

Don't know if this is going to interfere with my playlist down at the bottom of the page. If it does, you can scroll all the way down and push pause. I always hate it when I can't find people's playlists and can't pause the music haha.

I really wanted to add this song to my playlist but it wasn't available!! It's by Matthew West and I just love the lyrics :)

Enjoy!

Hiking!

Today we hiked at Silver Creek Falls. It was a beautiful day!!! We had so much fun, and even had a delicious bbq lunch in the park :) After the glorious hike, we headed back to my parents house for the day. It got me all the more excited for Ronan's first camping trip coming up at the end of the month! Speaking of which, I will most likely be starting my period any day now which means that during the camping trip i will have my "fertile" time... if I do at all that month, and after some thought, Brian and I have decided to "not try, not prevent" for a couple of months before we officially begin trying with our RE. If it were completely up to me I would wait until the RE. I guess I feel safer that way since our first baby was conceived naturally and we sadly lost him... I know the Lord is in control though, and a few months of "not trying, not preventing" won't hurt.
ANYWAY, back to our wonderful day of hiking!!! Here are some awesome pics!!!
