My dear sweet Ronan,
As I type this, your daddy is rocking you to sleep upstairs. You have already waken up 4 times and you only went to bed an hour ago :) I think it's gas tonight. Last night it was teething, and the night before you burned your hand on the fire place :( You saw the pretty flames on the gas furnace, I tried to get to you in time but you put your whole hand against the glass and cried immediately. I took it off and put it in ice water while you cried. It broke my heart. Thankfully it wasn't a bad burn. The day before that, you slipped in the bath tub and bit your tongue. I am not used to you injuring yourself yet. It scares me, and breaks my heart. I always want to protect you and keep you safe from everything I can. I also know that God loves you even more than I do and he is also protecting you.
You are walking now! You started when you were 10 1/2 months old. Your first wobbly steps :) Now you are walking like a pro! You love to play with Hazel, tugging on her toys with her, throwing her tennis balls, and patting at her face :)
You also LOVE a TV show called "The Wiggles" everytime it is turned on you are hypnotized. You even try dancing along!
You are a complete joy to me Ronan. I love our snuggly times in the morning. You wake up around 5:00 AM and you snuggle with mommy and daddy for a good couple of hours :)
Soon you will be a whole year old. I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone. I have honestly treasured every moment. In a couple days you will celebrate your first Thanksgiving! I cannot wait to see your reaction to all the different table foods. YOU LOVE FOOD! haha Especially chicken. You also love peas, sweet potatoes, ham, cheese and yogurt.
Your daddy and I are praying for a sibling for you soon too. We want you to have a baby brother or sister. I know you will be such a good big brother. God has created you so special Ronan. We had to wait a very long time for you because you were so special. God needed you here on earth for a very specific time. We may not know why for a while, but we do know that you were created for great things, and we will do all we can to guide you and teach you to be an awesome man of God. We love you so much,
