NO MORE ANTIBIOTICS!!

Ronan had another ultrasound today. His specialist said that his kidneys were growing perfectly and even though they thought he had significant scarring on the right kidney (that had grade 4 reflux) it appears to be perfectly healthy now!!! The specialist told us that about 50% of urologists would recommend continuing the meds, while the other 50% (his side) would suggest stopping it, and then keeping a close eye on them. I am definitely in favor of getting him off the daily antibiotics and I feel very confident that I can read my son and take his temperature daily to detect an early infection, just like I did when he was only 5 weeks old.
I am so happy about this!!! We aren't out of the woods completely YET though. Even *IF* the infections stay away for the next year it doesn't mean it is gone. They say he has about a 30-50% chance of him growing out of it completely by his 2nd birthday. So we will have an xray done to see for sure. They will have to mildly sedate him :( but if that is all good we are DONE with it :) if not, then we will see how bad it is, and if surgery is recommended.
Anyway, that is my fantastic update!!! Happy New Year EVERYONE!!!

2 down, 1 more to go...

I got my ovidrel and progesterone today! All I am waiting for now is the HMG injectible meds... the really expensive ones ;) I got a message saying that they are on their way so my guess is that they will arrive around the 31st- the 2nd.... I cannot believe it... then all I will be waiting for is my period! It's all happening so fast!

A couple hours ago, before I put Ronan down for bed Brian was playing with Ronan so I went into the computer room and foolishly brought up Ronan's old videos. It was so nostalgic. I must've looked silly getting all emotional about it, but I am DEFINITELY ready for another baby :)

Dear Lord,
Thank you so much for Ronan, thank you for giving me the desire of my heart <3 I ask now that if it is your will, that you would give him a sibling soon :) How wonderful it would be to grow our family and watch them learn to love you. I love being a wife and mother Lord, I cannot think of anything better. Thank you for the doctors you have brought into our lives.
I ask these things in your name,
Amen.

Sonohysterogram? Check!

WOW, that is a breeze compared to the HSG!!! The results are clear and immediate so that is always a plus :) RE said that my uterus looked excellent, and we are a GO!!! I cannot believe how small it is again!! Our bodies are truly amazing!
We also found out out that the Costco pharmacy carries Repronex!!! I don't know HOW we missed that since Brian WORKS for Costco! Its also cheaper to go through them, than over seas if you can believe that!! I didn't realize it before, but last cycle I was actually using a drug called Lepori, which is essentially the same exact thing, just the Europe brand. My RE said that he doesn't usually use Lepori because they have less control and knowledge as to what is being put in it and if it ever gets tampered with so he recommends the brands made in America.
So this cycle we will be using Repronex, it will be interesting to see if I respond better/ quicker to it vs. Lepori.
I guess now all I do is wait until my period starts, then schedule my baseline ultrasound :)

Here we go again...

So the appointment went really really well! It was crazy though, once we sat down and started talking it felt like we had never really left! I mean we just got straight down to business, and THANK GOODNESS he agreed that we should just start with what worked for us, the 2 amps of repronex/ HMG. And since I was already on day 3 we scheduled a sonohysterogram rather than the HSG this time, which I am okay with since it's less invasive and can be done in office, but is still equally as informative! So we scheduled it for wednesday the 15th at 2:45 pm
After that I will order my meds, which they already gave me a script for, then call when my period starts, which might not start on it's own knowing my history so he said that I could call in 5 weeks and get some progesterone to start my period for me
I just... i cannot believe this is happening!! Oh boy, here we go again....

OH and my baby, my sweet precious miracle turns ONE TOMORROW AT 8:37 PM tomorrow! How is this all happening so FAST??????

Perfect timing

I have been having just awful headaches and the other night started having bad cramps. As I lie in bed in agony i think, this feels familiar. Sure enough I was right! My period has returned, like a REAL one this time. The weird part is that it will put me at Cycle Day 3 for my appointment with our RE. That is the day that you usually have to schedule around to do any blood work, testing, to do sort of a baseline. So if he wants to check anything, it will be perfect!!!! OH, and that is TOMORROW! in case you had forgotten :)

Yesterday I came down here to Salem (where I am writing to you from now) to visit my Sister and her baby boy. Poor thing has really bad post pardum depression so my mom is helping care for her and the baby. Yesterday I spent all day making sure she is eating right, giving her a massage, and reminding her what an awesome mom she is. Please pray for her, that she can feel back to her normal self soon!

Ronan's FIRST birthday party is also sneaking up on me!!! It is going to be a busy, but wonferfully blessed week!!!!

Thanksgiving

It feels so strange to me that last year I was waddling around at 38 weeks pregnant, hoping and praying to go into labor to meet my son!! I remember being so anxious, I just wanted him to be out so badly. I was excited, but still nervous. I just wanted the pregnancy to be over. To know that he was here and safe. To know that I "did it" that I carried to term. That I would hold him and kiss him, bond with him and care for him. It was something I never had with my first baby. After we learned that Adriel was no longer living, the day after Thanksgiving 2007, I knew I was never going to be able to see him. He was only around 8 weeks old. I didn't know if I had the option, and even if I did I am not sure if I would be able to take it. I wanted my memory of Adriel to be that of a perfectly formed baby being handed over to Jesus to be cared for, for all eternity, until I also meet him in heaven. Some times I regret it. Some times I wish I could've somehow seen my little baby. Maybe that sounds morbid, but I don't care. It's the truth.
I will always ache for him, but God has healed my heart. He has given me a peace about my child in Heaven. He has also blessed me with a child on Earth also. Thanksgiving this year will be great!!! I cannot wait to see Ronan enjoying all the table food :)

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!

RE Appt. Scheduled!!

Last night Brian and I were talking, and discussing when we wanted to officially get things started for #2. It took a long time to finally get pregnant, and while I HOPE that Lord willing, it doesn't take that long, we think starting sooner rather than later is a good idea. We want them to be close in age and if we got pregnant any time after January I think it would be a great age gap. SO I called my dr. and we set up a consultation for Dec. 9th, ONE DAY before Ronan turns ONE! I figure we will probably discuss treatment plans, which I am hoping he will be on board with just going straight to injectables and skipping the clomid, since that is what worked for us. I see no reason why he wouldn't. I am also hoping that he suggests an HSG. While it isn't a FUN procedure it does an excellent job clearing everything out in there and increasing your fertility for the following 3 months. I would love to have everything in our favor when we start treatment.
Anyway, that is my update. I feel nervous, excited, anxious all at once :)

Pumpkin Patch!!!!

We had an amazing time at the pumpkin patch. sliding down slides, seeing all kinds of farm animals, hay mazes, fresh doughnuts and apple cider, pig races lol, and plently more :) I LOVE fall!!!

I think it's about that time...

About time to call it quits with pumping. I am hardly producing anymore, maybe 8 oz a day. I will continue nursing Ronan in the evenings and in the morning I think, and just let him naturally wean himself. But I will supplement with formula now until he switches to whole milk in about a month. WOW I cannot believe he is almost a year old. It's unreal. He is really moving around the house lately, walking from couch to couch, and standing by himself for long periods of time. Soon he is going to be walking! I wonder if it will be by his birthday????

I recently scheduled his next ultrasound for his kidney reflux. The end of December. REALLY praying for good results. I have a feeling it is clearing up on it's own. I really do. However there is no real way of knowing without the ultrasounds or x rays.

Only a couple more months before we start planning to go back to the RE! I suppose I should call and set up an appt in case there is a long wait. I am so nervous to do it though for some reason???
I also want to loose just a few more lbs before going in. I want to start much lower before my next pregnancy. I was about 140 last time. Which is healthy for a 5'7 woman, but i am 135 now, and would like to be closer to 130 before getting pregnant again.

So much happening! I love love love my life right now. I am thoroughly enoying being a wife and mama. I am enjoying this season of life!!! Thank you God for giving me the most precious gift!!!

Ronan is standing!!!

I am gonna post a couple videos because I am an obsessed mama :) I cannot believe it! He is standing! He is even trying to take little steps. He falls over immediately but he can balance for quite a while on his own!!

3 years ago today...

My dreams came true. I found out I was pregnant with Adriel. My husband and I cried, hugged, called anyone and everyone telling them our news. We praised God, we celebrated in every way possible!! I will always remember this day with bitter happiness, but mostly happiness. It was a good day. Yes it ended hard, and I will always ALWAYS ache for my first miracle, but I know that my sweet love is in Heaven, a better home than I could ever provide, and someday I will get to love and cuddle him for all eternity :)

Should have known

Well, the vitamin C did start something, but I think it was just break through bleeding. Oh well. It was pretty much just spotting for a few days. However the pain in my ovaries and lower back is mostly gone, so that is a good thing!

I have been spending most of my free time these days directing a musical for my church. It is a Christmas program designed for children ages k-8th grade. I was expecting about 10 kids at our first rehearsal yesterday... I had 45!!!! WOW. It was great! I was a little overwhelmed, but am really excited now. I have a lot of planning to do, and Brian is just the best ever.
He did all the power point, helped lead some songs with the kids, set up tables and chairs, met and talked with parents, all while holding Ronan while he slept on his shoulder and a smile on his handsome face!!!!! I married SUPER MAN!!!!!

I am also getting prepared for Ronan's 1st birthday (yikes) and planning my friends 21st birthday party- it's going to be one of the murder mystery parties where someone dies, and someone at the party is the murderer. You get to dress up and be someone your not- I love it ;)
I am going to be a saloon girl! woo woo! hehe

OK, well Ronan just woke up from his 2 1/2 hour nap! I think his top teeth are coming in :( poor little guy. At least he got an awesome power nap in!!!

VITAMIN C TO THE RESCUE!!

Thanks Christina!!! I was a little unsure about doing this because I read that it makes the uterus hostile and acidic, and I was unsure if all it was going to do was induce break through bleeding. I decided to take just one pill, a regular dose, and if it helped, great, and if not then no harm done. That was this afternoon. It is now a little after 10 pm. Hubby and I had just back from a date night and sure enough AF arrived! WOW wasn't expecting that! Amazing haha.

Anyway, that is my update! Thanks again for the great tip, Christina!

UNCOMFORTABLE

Is how I feel after 90 days of NO PERIOD!!! I was surprised I even started my period while nursing, but I did, and they were actually fairly regular for about 4 cycles. Even though I wasn't TTC(trying to conceive) and still am not TTC, it was NICE having an idea of where I was in my cycle and knowing that I could POSSIBLY have a chance of TTC on our own a couple months before we went back to the RE. But AF has been gone for over 90 days now and it's not JUST that I want AF to return to have a little normalcy, but it's strangely uncomfortable. It's weird. It feels kinda like I am always PMSy down there. My lower back aches a little and it feels generally uncomfortable. The solution seems easy. Call my DR. and get some progesterone prescribed so that it will bring on AF... The problem with that is, I actually already had some progesterone pills from a previous cycle that I ended up not using. I started taking them 3 days ago, but the minute I did, they just about dried up my milk supply! I know this because I skipped the pill last night and sure enough my milk came back in. Ugghhh, so I guess that means another 3 months or so of no period and this strange ache until Ronan is weaned and by that time we will be going back to the RE anyway. OH WELL. It's not that big a deal, just uncomfortable :(

Fall is in full swing here in Oregon. It is just beautiful outside. This is by far my favorite season. Pumpkin patches, haunted houses (lol) yummy hot drinks, fires in the fireplace, trees changing colors.... Ahhh I love it all :)

Ronan can stand on his own for like 5 seconds!!! And he had a blast meeting his new little cousin. Okay, he mostly just stared at him, wondering why he was making those shrill little sounds hahha. He was sooo tiny!! 3 weeks old and still under what Ronan weighed at birth haha. It was a lot of fun seeing my sister and snuggling my nephew. I thought I would for sure get baby fever the minute I held him. While I DID love snuggling him...baby fever did NOT set in. I am enjoying this stage with Ronan far too much :) I have a feeling, come January we it will. I know that is when Brian really wants to go back. HECK he would go now if it didn't matter that Ronan was still nursing.
I love him for it though. He is the world's best father and best husband. I really feel blessed to have him.

Thank you God, thank you so much for bringing such beauty into my life. Thank you for the people who surround me. I do not deserve any of it. You are so gracious...

mommy workout

No more excuses mommies! Here is a great way to work those abs and play with your baby at the same time lol ;)

SLOW DOWN!!!!!

Can he just slow down please???? He is suddenly standing every opportunity he can, even taking small steps. He has mastered the stairs, he is just conquering so many milestones lately I can hardly keep up!!!
In other news, Brian, myself and a bunch of our siblings, friends and co-workers went to a family fun center and had a blast! I am so sore from the rock climbing wall and the ropes course. I think just doing things in general that my body is not used to doing lol. It was so much fun though. It makes me what to be even that much more active. We are trying to get a group together to go rock climbing again.
The fall weather lately has been so beautiful. This is definitely my favorite season by far. i can't believe it was last year that I was taking daily walks, rubbing my big tummy, just waiting to meet this little guy.
Is it wrong that I am already excited for Christmas?? lol. OH and his first birthday party too!!! I cannot wait :) so many good things to come. Life is good.

Ronan crawling

Some footage of Ronan crawling!!!!! He is now pulling himself up regularly and being an all around dare devil lol.

He is also REALLY into books lately, i will have to put the video of a book up later ;)

Life has been pretty busy and chaotic as I am now the director of a children't musical production for my church. With the help of many others, I am going to be putting on a Christmas musical!!! I am really excited. I have directed once before, but this time its going to be much much bigger!!!!

OH, DUH and my Sister had her baby!!!! He came one week early, and we found out that its a BOY!!!! Gideon Alder is his name :)
The two cousins will only be 8 1/2 months apart!!! SO my day dreams and silly thoughts came true, Ronan and Gideon at the camp outs when we are older, getting into trouble. Meeting cute girls hehe... oh boy... He is just the sweetest little guy too!!!

Okay well I gotta get back to making my dinner. Enjoy the video of my boy!! I have a feeling he is going to be walking soon...

I'm back!

I forgot my sd card for my camera for the camping trip :( I will have to wait to snag pics from other people who took them.
It was really fun. A little stressful camping with a baby, I felt like I was always having to get away to pump, which is hard to do in a tent. Or prepare his meals, get him snacks, change his pants and clothes when he got filthy from playing...I kinda felt on the "go" quite a bit, so it was hard to relax... like you're supposed to on VACA lol, but it was still fun seeing family I hadn't seen in a while.
We played on the beach, Ronan loved the sand. He has also become quite the pro at CRAWLING!!! But wait, that's not ALL! His two bottom teeth FINALLY came in!!! So cute <3
He loves "Big people food" and wants to eat everything I am eating. He is growing up so fast, but I am enjoying every stage. I am just so thankful that I am a stay at home mommy and don't have to miss ANYTHING.

We also had my BIL and his new wife come visit with us for a couple of days. It was a delight getting to know her better. Now I am not the only girl on my hubby's side of the family! YAY! She is such a sweetie. I know we will be very close.

OH another thing about the camping trip.... SO WEIRD. We woke up the morning that we were going to leave, and neither my parents or I could find our coolers?? We looked all over thinking it must be a prank. Who would steal cooler, right? I mean, where there is a guitar left out, a bike, other things right next to it holding much more worth... but no... someone stole our coolers! It had all my breastmilk in it... grrrrr, a bunch of meat and other food. Brian and Brandon (BIL) heard from the park ranger that there have been a bum that has been stealing coolers and has been living in the woods. So they went searching through the woods to see what they could find. They found a bum's old run down camping site in the middle of no where with a cooler in it! Unfortunately not ours... If it wasn't weird enough, they found a beer can upside down on a stick, this was apparently some sort of "calling card" or his way of claiming the area because we found another one at another abandoned site, and even WEIRDER, we found a noose. YES a hangman's noose hanging from a low tree branch just swaying in the quiet breeze... ???? So creepy? My FIL cut it down because, well, that is just dangerous with kids around. And also reported it. I have video because I am a dork like that and just may post it LOL.

Anyway it was super fun, weird and exhausting. I am happy to be home and enjoy some quiet time :)

Clueless!!

Still no period, and am currently on cycle day 46!! LOL. For those who don't know or don't count their cycle days. It begins the first day of menses. So that would mean that in a regular cycle, women bleed every 28 days.... it's been 46 DAYS since my last menses! Obviously it's because of my PCOS, and probably due to nursing/ breastfeeding. But wow... What is even weirder is that I am NOW getting fertile CM! Once again for those who aren't familiar with fertility, or reproduction jargon, this is an acronym for cervical mucus. and YES this is TMI for a lot of people, but not most of my followers ;)
I find it hard to believe though that at cd 46 I would be ovulating, but I guess we'll find out in 15 days though. I am too cheap to buy opk's right now, so I will just have to wait it out. This has most definitely been the longest cycle I have ever had in a veeeery long time.

This week we are going camping!! Ronans first camping trip! I am so excited to see my family! I can't wait to post pictures :)

The summer is almost over! Can you believe it? I hope everyone has a wonderful week. You probably won't hear from me until next week.
Until then my friends!!!

8 months already!!

My little boy is 8 months old! I cannot believe how fast its going by... oh and FYI my apostrophe button isnt working. Ronan got to my lap top and messed with the button. Oh well, i never claimed to have perfect grammar to begin with :)

We have had a tough week dealing with financial problems associated with the economy. I am sure many of you are feeling the impact in some form or another. I am not going to go into the details of how its impacting our family, but what I will say is that during this time of fear, frustration and trial, I find it SO comforting that I dont have to worry! Its my first instinct of course, but sooner rather than later I find its pointless.
Thank God he sees the big picture!!! I have so much peace about our current situation, and find it odd that it takes something like this to rattle me around and remind me of the purpose of my life here. To use my time wisely, to LOVE God, to LOVE others. I am more grateful for my role as a wife and stay at home mom then I have ever been. I want to be the best home maker I can be. I want to greet my husband when he comes home with a kiss. Give him the safe haven he needs to relax at the end of his work day and love and cuddle him :) I want my child to know that his mommy is always here for him. I want him to feel safe and build the kind of self esteem that will eventually develop him into a strong young man.
I want him to learn about our Heavenly Father, and see Him in our every day lives. I want to be a mama that EXAMPLES Gods love, not just teaches it.

Thank you Lord that I can trust you when things seem lost. When financial problems happen. We can trust you. Thank you for my husband who loves you So much. Thank you for our beautiful son who, I pray will love you too someday.

I am a blessed woman!!! Look at my adorable little boy!!!!

"After you have a baby, your body will figure it out"

HA!!! Yeah, right. Not MY body. I can't count the number of times I have heard this. I actually thought this might have been the case. As most of you know, or read, I started my period like 4 months post pardum, pretty soon for a nursing mama! Since then my cycles have averaged around 33 days. Normal for even a medicated ovulatory cycle! I was pretty impressed, and thinking I may even get a shot of "trying" a little before moving on to medical assistance... until this cycle came and went. I'm on day 40, I keep getting my cramps, but no period.... And no, I am not pregnant. I picked up a test at the store today, and it was negative. If I inspected *really* hard I can see where a dark line SHOULD be, but isn't... so not pregnant, just back to my whacky old cycles, arg.
Oh well, life could DEFINITELY be worst and I am thankful I can even GET pregnant with a little help from injectible meds. I guess I just sorta hoped to be "normal" for a little while longer :/

Ronan still has no teeth haha. Poor guy wakes up 3-4 times a night in agony. He falls quickly back to sleep most nights, but I just want those teeth to come out already, and stop causing my son grief!!
He will be 8 months old tomorrow. Where has the time gone?????

Matthew West - Safe and Sound

Don't know if this is going to interfere with my playlist down at the bottom of the page. If it does, you can scroll all the way down and push pause. I always hate it when I can't find people's playlists and can't pause the music haha.

I really wanted to add this song to my playlist but it wasn't available!! It's by Matthew West and I just love the lyrics :)

Enjoy!

Let me start by saying, I LOVE my dog. She is so good with Ronan, as you will see for yourself :) They play so well together it never ceases to amuse me... or them for that matter!!

Hiking!

Today we hiked at Silver Creek Falls. It was a beautiful day!!! We had so much fun, and even had a delicious bbq lunch in the park :) After the glorious hike, we headed back to my parents house for the day. It got me all the more excited for Ronan's first camping trip coming up at the end of the month! Speaking of which, I will most likely be starting my period any day now which means that during the camping trip i will have my "fertile" time... if I do at all that month, and after some thought, Brian and I have decided to "not try, not prevent" for a couple of months before we officially begin trying with our RE. If it were completely up to me I would wait until the RE. I guess I feel safer that way since our first baby was conceived naturally and we sadly lost him... I know the Lord is in control though, and a few months of "not trying, not preventing" won't hurt.
ANYWAY, back to our wonderful day of hiking!!! Here are some awesome pics!!!

True Woman | Beware the Husband Basher

True Woman | Beware the Husband Basher

I thought this article was SUCH a good reminder! I like to think that I am really good wife, and for the most part, I think if you asked my hubby he would say 'yes'... However I have noticed that lately I have been getting a little more negative with Brian. In public nothing has changed. I am very careful to always use my words to uplift my husband, and there is no reason to do other wise, he really is a wonderful husband, I am very blessed! In the privacy of our home though, I've started nagging a lot more! Where did it come from? After some quiet evaluation of my heart, the source is clear. I am letting satan creep his nasty little foot into my thoughts. I haven't been as diligent in my prayer life. I haven't been as focused in my Bible reading. I was getting comfortable. Ladies, if you find yourself getting comfortable- BEWARE! If we aren't moving towards God, or our relationships, we are moving further away. It's not possible to just float in the same place. We are either moving forward or drifting away. Sometimes it's not obvious until you see how far you've drifted.
Given, nothing life altering has happened, we still love eachother very much and no real damage has been made in our marriage, but if i continued neglecting this, the nagging turns into arguments, arguments turn into bitterness and resentment, resentment results in avoiding eachother, space, loneliness, an ache for love that you may look for else where... it just can so easily snowball and end in a destroyed relationship. Stay on top of your marriages ladies. What an easy way to keep in check too. Love on those hubbies of yours!!
I will start ;)

What I love about Brian,

Brian- I know you will eventually read this, so here it goes..

I love the way on your days off you take Ronan in the morning so I can sleep in.
I love when you write me love notes.
I love when you think about me at work and bring me home "prizes" haha
I love when you pray with me.
I love when you help me out with the chores, even without me asking!
I love how hard you work so that I can be home with our son.
I love when you show your affection by words or action, infront of others.
I love the way you are around my friends.
I love how strong you are when we face tragedy.

Brian, this list could go on forever. Forgive me if I take you for granted. I don't know any other woman more blessed than I , and it's because of YOU. God led me to the most amazing husband. Thank you for loving me!

I saw my RE today!

Better late than never. Today Brian and I took Ronan into our RE (reproductive endocrinologist)We also took a Thank You card with pictures of him at birth and other stages. My doctor was very booked but came out as soon as we arrived because he was so excited to see us again :)
What was unfortunate was right before we got there Ronan completely passed out. I guess he was very very tired. My doctor chatted with us a bit, looked at his pictures and admired our sleeping boy. It was a very tender moment. I forgot how much I love my doctor.
It also brought very unexpected feelings. Once we walked into the door Brian and I were both flooded with memories. It was such a sense of fulfillment to be coming into that office, not in wonder, or anxiety. We weren't scared, we weren't nervous. We had our precious miracle safe and sleeping right next to us. We no longer had to wonder if our dreams would ever come true. We no longer were frustrated with "what ifs" or working out financial plans for the next cycle in case this one failed.... all it was, was joy.

THANK YOU LORD! Thank you for delivering me from deep heart ache. I pray for all my friends who are still waiting for this deliverance. I pray that you will fill their hearts as you have filled mine.

The other unexpected feeling was excitement! Excitement at the thought of trying AGAIN!!! I know I still want to wait a little while longer. I know that, but going there, seeing my doctor, it really has me in anticipation! I just know this time around will be different.
My doctor was very cute. As he admired our sleeping boy he stroked his shoulder and said, "okay, now we need to get you one dressed in PINK" hehehe.
I personally don't care what gender my children are, I am just excited to see what the Lord has in store for us next. I am getting excited to give Ronan a sibling.
My guess is that we will start going in the fall for baseline work. Then probably start actively trying in the winter. I think it would be nice to have a summer baby, or a spring baby. I just have NO idea how long it might take... It may take only 2 cycles on injectables, like it did with Ronan. It may take 6? I guess we'll find out when the time comes.
Sorry. I think I am mostly rambling. Today was a good day :) i only wish I could've gotten a picture of Ronan with my doctor.
Next week we are going to silver creek falls. There will be lots of pictures :)

Ronan sharing his dinner with Hazel

Ronan is so cute. During his snack times he often leans over really far looking for Hazel with food in his hands. He loves feeding her.
ALSO, he is getting SO close to crawling!!! I almost thought he would never crawl because he gets everywhere he needs to by rolling from A to B. He is so fast!!! But today he really started trying to raise his hips and pushing off. I was so proud of him.
Any day now!

Little Faith Chau, It's Only Goodbye For Now

My perfect little child, I send you off with a name.
I will call you Faith, and be thankful that you came.
You were here for a short time, but you've left me forever changed.
I will miss you little one, and I don't know how
But until I see you in Heaven, it's goodbye for now.

My beautiful Faith, my heart made room for you,
It's now hurting and empty, but for now it will have to do.
Until I am called home to meet you in Heaven I will keep missing you.
I love you Faith, and I don't know how
But until I see you there it's goodbye for now.

Little one, you were a beautiful surprise
How much I wish I could have seen your eyes.
To wipe your tears, fix your scraped knee
To take you to ballet, or spend time sipping tea.
You were taken too soon, and I don't know how
But until I see you in Heaven, It's goodbye for now.

Lord, bless my child, give her loves for me.
I am thankful that it's the big picture you see.
I will miss my baby, I will miss my child
But I Love you Lord, and this I know now,
That I will see you in Heaven and it's only goodbye for now.

With Love,
Auntie Melissa

Ronan 7 months, and some sad news...

So if it isn't bad enough that it has taken me this long to get working on his 7 month pictures, my batteries died in the middle of taking them so I only got a couple decent shots.

Yesterday was Ronan's first trip to the zoo, and it was so much fun!! Ronan had a great day watching animals and spending time with mama and daddy :)
We didn't take the camera, but did take the flip, so maybe i will get some video up tomorrow.

In more upsetting news, my best friend, and cousin, lost her precious miracle baby on the 13th. Little Faith has been with the Lord now for a week.
It's not fair. It's heartbreaking. I know all to well the lonely ache my sweet cousin is feeling. She has two healthy happy and precious boys she is staying strong for but I just hurt for her. Please pray for her. Please pray that the Lord heals her broken heart and allows her body to recuperate quickly allowing a healthy conception, not to replace Faith, but to bring joy back into their home once again.

Curious Ronan

It's hard work changing a 7 month old's poopy diaper... ACK! 7 months old and I haven't even thought about taking his picture yet! I guess that is tomorrow's task! So far I have been really good about getting cute pictures every month and I hope to continue doing so.
But back to the diaper thing... He rolls all the time when I am trying to change him!! He is such a little stinker ;)
After rolling around and making a horrible mess while I tried to keep him clean and change him all at once, I eventually gave up, wiped him down then tossed him in the pool outside haha. It definitely did the trick, and he seemed to enjoy himself.

He is so close to crawling, but so far he still only moves backwards when on all fours. He gets frustrated and ends up rolling to his destinations... it may take longer and more planning, but that is his way for now :)

Ronan tries his first pickle

My brother, Ronan's uncle thought it would be a good idea for him to try his first pickle. We were all expecting a silly face... it never came. HE LOVED THE PICKLE!! He sucked on it for a loooong time. It was very amusing :)

the big 2-5

I turned 25 yesterday! Holy cow that just seems so old! So much older than 24.... My birthday was simply fantastic!!! Brian made me a silly home made card (we love to make our cards) My mother in law gave me some shopping money so I used it to go shopping and get a cute outfit for the evening. We then went to the cheesecake factory and got some appetizers and dessert. I also got a special Bikini martini drink ;) And when they brought out my cheesecake it had a candle in it and they sang to me. After that we went to the broadway production of the Lion King... it was just amazing. I think even more so because it had been awhile since we had been on a date like that alone in awhile. I was so thankful for my mother in law who was staying with us and watched our sweet boy.

Meanwhile Ronan had a blast with his grandma. He is such a giggly little guy. He has mastered the words "mama" and "dada" and will occasionally surprise us with a "hi" :)
He is rolling alllll over and is starting to army crawl. He likes standing almost all the time. He also loves to jump!

I think we are going to try to go to the drive in tonight. They are showing toy story 3 and karate kid. Double feature! It's the best way to see movies because we can easily take Ronan!

That is all for now!
