sorry I haven't updated in awhile... so busy, lack of sleep, obsession with my awesome baby :) whom by the way is babbling like crazy, smiling, laughing a little, imitating my facial expressions (that's fun) and he is reaching for things!! I just love watching him grow and learn, he is so smart!
Yesterday was his 2 month check up and the day before that he had a hip ultrasound to make sure he didn't have hip displaysia (since i had it, and it's hereditary) The ultrasound was fine, Ronan was a champ and didn't cry once, although he did pee on the tech hahaha. Way to go son! you show em!! It was strange though because we were in the same room as before when he had his kidney u/s during our dreaded 10 day stay. Didn't exactly bring back happy memories... Thank God he is okay and he are no longer residing there! haha
His appt also went well. He is up to 12 lbs 6 oz. and he is almost 24 inches tall!!! Cannot believe that in 9 weeks he has already gained over 4 lbs, and over 3 inches! amazing...
The worst part of the appt was his shots :( 3 of them! and one given orally. He didn't cry at the first one, but by the second and third he was screaming. It's so hard, every time and it never gets easier!!
The next thing we need to do is schedule a visit with the uralagist (sp?) it will be nice to get some more information regarding Ronan's condition.
Well anyway, time to go, baby is awake ready to play!!!
