That was short!

I started my period again, making my cycle a strange and oddly short 24 day cycle. My guess is that I didn't actually ovulate and it is just break through bleeding? oh well...

In other news I finally found a dress for my brother in laws wedding, where Brian and I will be singing, Brian will also be a grooms men and Ronan will be the ring bearer.
I also found a suit for Ronan that goes with the colors! They are corn flower blue and a yellow color. I found the perfect corn flower blue vest for Ronan, but the suit was missing pants... so I still am on the hunt for black infant pants. I found corn flower blue shoes for me, but my dress is a deep, dark blue color. Here are some pics of my finds :)

Ronan had his first solids!

My little boy is growing up! I cannot believe how big he is getting!! He is sitting up really well when I hold him on my lap. I remember when he could hardly hold his head up!! Now he is almost sitting all by himself.
I have been putting off getting a highchair, but it seems that he is ready! He loved his rice cereal, mixed with breast milk, and I also gave him a little banana mixed with breast milk that he REALLY loved.

I Love the way...

My little boy grabs my hands every time I bring them down by his face.
The way he kicks his little legs when he gets excited.
The high soft tone his voice takes when it's a tender conversation meant only for mommy.
How he will crane is neck so his little eyes can follow me every where I go.
How every morning starts with a smile.
The way he sings with me in the bath tub, and when I stop, he stops and waits for me to start again.
I love the way his hair looks in the morning, all fuzzy cute.
The way his eyes smile, even if his mouth isn't.
I love how when he sees my breast his eyes widen because he wants his milk haha.
I love The way his breath always smells so sweet, and his hair and skin always smell so pure and perfect.
I love the way he holds on to me when I pick him up. How he trusts me completely.
The way his eyes will study mine, or just purely gaze into them.
The way his butt sticks out when he stretches after a good nap.
I love the way he can sit in my lap and be totally content.
I love watching him grow, and learn new things.
I love the way he wiggles around when I change his diaper, embracing the freedom lol.
I love that anything and everything should be explored by his mouth.
I love the way his eyes follow his puppy and smile while he reaches out to touch her.
The way he looks when he sleeps.
The way he flails his arms when he wants me.
The way he rubs his eyes and buries his head in my chest when tired.
The way he smiles a goofy grin then hides when he sees a pretty girl, and belly laughs when the boys are being silly.
The way his fingers close around mine.
The way he looks in his footy pajamas.
I love the way He smiles at everyone and has no discriminations.
I love the way he babbles at me behind his binky, bottle, or when breastfeeding.
I the way God created my son.

I know this list could go on forever. If you would like to add anything that YOU love about your little one, I want to hear it! Let's celebrate these little miracles!!!

A day at the Tulip Festival!!

It was a lovely day today, warm but slightly over cast. Ronan enjoyed all the beautiful colors of the tulips today at the Tulip Festival! What beauty God brings us in every season! We rode a cute little train thing out to the feilds, and then enjoyed strolling around awe-struck at all the brilliant colors! Ronan loved it :) Then fell asleep haha.

4 month appt.

Just got back from our appointment. Ronan is right on track for growth and development. 15lbs 3 oz (50th percentile) 25 in tall (50th percentile) and his head circumference was in the 25th percentile. I think it's funny that he has a smaller head like me, rather than the noggin' his dad is sporting ;) It's a good thing he has all the hair working for him to help compensate!
His shots went really well, he nursed afterward and that made everything better :) I am SO happy that he has yet to get anymore UTI infections, so either the antibiotics are doing their job, or Ronan is growing out of the Kidney reflux. I pray for the latter.

Nevada was really fun, but the traveling was a bit draining. The plane ride itself was a breeze. only an hour long and he slept the whole time. It was the 3 hour drive from the airport to the grandparents house that was the killer. However it was really fun!!! Brian and I played this mystery game on the computer called "Mystery at Dire Grove" lol, yes it sounds cheesy, but we had so much fun solving the puzzles and investigating haha. Ronan had lots of cuddle times with his grandparents and it was just adorable watching him bond with them.
My husband and I are truly blessed to have such wonderful parents on BOTH sides. I love them So much.

My sister's ultrasound went well! Baby looks healthy and well developed. Thank you Lord!!! I cannot wait to meet my little nephew or niece- She is still not telling :)

Alright, that is all :) Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!!

Ronan just rolled for the first time!!!

I dont have time for a full blog. I am packing for Nevada, but while doing so I had Ronan on the floor for tummy time and noticed he was just teetering... so close to rolling over, like he has been for weeks- then it happened! He rolled over all by himself on his four month bday, he is growing so fast!!! okay, back to packing!!!

Some 4 month pics

Okay, it is always super hard to choose my favorite shots but here are a few pics of my little pumpkin :)
His little personality is really beginning to shine through and I believe he is truly going to be his father's son. He is such a patient little guy, only getting grumpy when he is hungry- yes, just like his father ;)
He never cries, I don't know if that will ever change... but he has such a sweet, calm and snuggly temperament.
He has really been experimenting with his voice. So soft and high haha it makes me smile. He will make these gentle little sounds behind his binky, or while he is nursing. It's such a sweet sound.
His laugh is contagious, as well as his smile. He is SOOOO close to rolling over! And he is grabbing anything and everything in his grasp. He is really growing up.
Someday he will be a wonderful big brother. I really believe that God is going to make him a leader, and he will be a responsible big brother.
I really feel God tugging on my heart, molding it and preparing it for adoption someday. I know I still want to have a few more biological children. The experience of pregnancy and birth is so amazing. It truly has taught me a few lessons about God. How creating this little life- an image of myself, like God created us in image of Him, is so powerful, there is nothing you want more than to give all your love to this little person and for them to give it back. You would do anything for them... Just like God DID do for us... Anyways, I could go on and on, but so far I have successfully hijacked this blog entry from talking about Ronan's 4 month pictures to plans for the future and God speaking to me hehe.

Enjoy the pictures, there will be many more of us visiting the Grandparents in Nevada!!!
