hospitalized....

i sit here in the hospital completely heartbroken typing with one hand, the other holding my sick baby :(
last night he was pretty fussy, he wouldnt sleep unless in my arms. this morning he looked flushed and felt a bit warm but otherwise seemed just fine. i took his temp to be safe, it was 100, two hrs later it was 100.2. my pediatrition advised us to go ahead and go straight to the ER since he is still so young.
after blood tests, a cathedar/ urine sample, a chest xray, a spinal tap etc...
eventually to find out he has a uti, or kidney/bladder infection which will require him to be on antibiotics for 10 days, which also means hospitalized for 10 days... ugghhh it just all feels like a horrible nightmare. please pray he heals quickly. my poor baby... i just want it all to be over and to go home. i cried like a baby when they said we had to stay over night, and more when they said two nights. when they broke the news about staying 10 days i sobbed.
