21 weeks!!

I got some paint samples for Ronan's room and when I first put them on the wall, I hated the blue I choose. It looked like white!! But then, after it dried it was just perfect!!! So i think tomarow I will go get the rest of the painting supplies that I need so I can get to work!!
My in-laws gave us their old queen sized bed for our guest room, which will actually be a guest room when Brandon moves out in Septmember. That way, when parents come to visit/help after Ronan is born, they won't have to sleep on an air mattress hehe.
I also finished my registries!! Walmart, Target and Babies R Us. Yes, my baby shower is still 70 days away (who's counting?) but I was too excited to wait, and was dying to put one together :) Brian and I had a lot of fun!!!
My sciatic is acting up again, which leaves me somewhat helpless at home. I really do enjoy being at home, but with the sciatic pain I get a little restless. I'm really trying to focus my attention on the things i CAN do around the house, rather than get irritated at the dishes and laundry that pile up, because it kills my back to bend over and try to do it.. blech.
Other than that, things are going very well. I absolutly love feeling this little guy wiggle around every day! I'm SO BLESSED! Thank you LORD!!!

20 weeks!

WAHOOOOOO 20 weeks!!! I honestly never thought I'd be here. I'm just beyond excited :) Not only am I insanely happy to be progressing in my pregnancy so flawlessly, I am feeling Ronan regularly every day and listening to his heartbeat via a stethescope every night. I call it my "nightly listen" hehe. Brian puts on the sthethy ;) and finds the heartbeat for me, and I listen with a goofy smile on my face until Ronan starts kicking and moving away from stethy. I honestly couldn't be happier, or more thankful. Praise God for these wonderful gifts we don't deserve!! Only 20 more weeks to go, Less than 140 more days!!!!

My 20 week pic will come tomarow. My sciatic is killing me tonight and i am just gonna kick it on the couch.

In sadder news, our beloved family dog Bob died today :( He was old and very loved. It was just his time i supposed. Poor old Bobby. Sweetest doggy in the world.

I have also decided not to watch anymore of those 911 shows on the discovery channel. Today there was one about a pregnant lady who was on bedrest. Her house was broken into, and while she was on the phone with a 911 operator, the scum who broke into her house came at her and took advantage of her. Finally the police showed up to bust him... but still... had I beed in that room, I would have sent that man to God's judgment!!!! I was so upset by the tv show I was crying frantically. I don't know why it impacted me so much, but my heart just ached so badly for her, and I was so furiously mad I was screaming at my tv through my tears... blech. No more of that for me.

On that happy note, I am out for the night :) I will update tomarow with my 20 week pic.

Brian felt his first kick :)

Last night Ronan was giving me some good kicks in his favorite spot... my lower right side, close to my hip bone. I put Brian's hand right over the spot, Ronan got a little shy and stopped. Eventually patience paid off and Brian felt my belly buldge, then another! His face was priceless, it lit right up :)
Lately his favorite times to kick are in the afternoon, when I'm on the computer, and in the late evening. I can feel him getting stronger and stronger! It's the most wonderful feeling in the world. I waited so long for this, it's hard to believe it's really happening.
Thank you Lord. You are SO good to me. Thankyou for keeping Ronan strong and healthy!! I love you with all my heart!!!

19 weeks

I'm still in awe. How great is our GOD??? uggg... I feel so overwhelmingly blessed. Now I just am excited for all the STUFF!!! BABY STUFF!!!! Most of my time and energy will now be on the nursery. I have waited SO LONG to make my nursery and I cannot wait to make it just right :)

I'M HAVING A BOY!!!!! Oh, Little Ronan, you have NO idea how much mommy loves you :)

Looks like we will be welcoming a healthy baby BOY into our lives December 4th. Little Ronan Edward :)

18 weeks pregnant!

18 weeks today! That means only 6 days until we find out the gender!!! YIPEEE!!! I have been feeling a lot of weird nudges latley. They almost feel like little muscles spasms, but in my uterus. Everytime I feel those little flutters I can't help but smile, then I stop whatever I am doing and concentrate really hard to see if I can feel another.
We are heading down to Salem tonight to spend 4th of July with mom and dad. That will be really fun :)
Poor little Hazel is healing pretty well since her surgery :( I cannot seem to slow her down!!! The first two days she was pretty calm and out of it still, but now she is running and jumping all over. Her stitches still look really good, so I guess it's not hurting her. She still takes lots of rests here and there, so hopefully she will be all better soon.
The gender poll seems to be showing a very close TIE between a girl and boy!! only a couple days left to vote, it should be interesting to see who is right :)

17 weeks!!!

3 more weeks until this pregnancy is half over!!!!! I cannot wait to hold this baby in my arms! Here is my 17 week pic, and a pic of me sucking in, because it looks ridiculous heheh

I still look fat, not pregnant :( and I still have only gained a total of 3.5 lbs. Is that normal?

1 week 6 days until we know the gender! I cannot believe it! Everything will change once we find out! We will have a name for the baby, a theme for the nursery... I just cannot contain my excitement!!! AHHHHHHH

Not much else to report, I have a sore throat right now, so I'm just laying low the last two days, hoping to kick in the crotch so I don't have to go in and be treated (yes, sore throat's have crotches) Other than that, things are going great :)
