AF showed today so I called in my cycle to Dr. B at ORM and they told me that NEXT cycle (which will be at the end of August given my history) they will call in my RX for B/C and start planning and lining up my bloodwork and other pre-IVF testing.
Brian and I are getting so excited!!!!
I am praying that the Lord prepares my body, and has His hands deep in the creating of these new lives. I cannot wait for the miracles to come!!!
Lord, thank you for the science available to us. I am so thankful that there are options for women like me. Thank you for allowing Brian and I the chance to be fruitful. I ask that you would bless our family. I praise you in advance for all that is to come. I know you are good and I trust it all into your hands completely.
I will do everything I can to honor YOU through this amazing process. Please use Brian and I at our clinic. I pray we would be lights to the doctors and nurses. That YOUR glory would be known. You are so good.
Amen.
This blog is a dedication and celebration of the beautiful gift of life God has blessed a once "barren" woman. A place to share my life experiences as a mother, wife, friend and child of God. A place to vent my struggles with infertility and trying to conceive. And a place to share the amazing things God is doing in my life everyday!

Contentment and anticipation
These last few weeks I feel especially blessed to be Ronan's mom. He is so interactive lately. He loves finding airplane's in the sky, says "bwuds" in his soft high voice as he points to the birds flying above. He can repeat just about anything I say, and loves to do so. Each night before he goes to bed we have a brief dance party. I have this little disco colored light thing in his room that flashes colors all over the walls while we dance lol. I really need to get this on tape. He is just so fun.
Another new thing has been the discovery of babies. Originally I wanted him to become comfortable with babies because we were going to see my cousin who has a 6 week old. I wanted him to know that he needs to be gentle and soft with the baby.
I didn't know he was going to fall in love with babies. Each time the baby would cry, his face would get so sad. He would point to the baby with a concerned face and say, "baby".
He has a baby doll at home that he loves to hold, kiss and hug. It melts my heart everytime and leaves me anxious to give him his own little baby to love and cuddle <3
I am on CD 24, 10 days or so until my LAST CYCLE before moving on to IVF. Brian and I feel like the door to IUI/ Injectibles (what we used for Ronan) was completely closed now. We found out our insurance wasn't supposed to cover as much as it did. If we were to do it now it would be 2,000 dollars a try. It took 6 tries to get Ronan... add up that math... we cannot afford that. IVF will be cheaper in the long haul. Until then I am still praying for a natural miracle, but feel good about our situation now. I am so excited to move on and build our family!!! less than 3 months now until I start the process!!! Brian and I are getting soooo excited :)
Thank you Lord for my son, for allowing me to be a mom. I pray that soon we will be able to expand our family :) I also thankyou for my husband and all my family who are supportive and loving. You have given me so much. I praise your name!!!

Like clock work?
Yesterday was cycle day 19 and in the early afternoon I got THIS

Now the real question is if I actually had any follicles worth rupturing with that beautiful LH surge, thanks to PCOS.
Other than that news, I apologize for the lack of updates! It has been so busy here. A lot of family in town for birthday parties, and summer fun. We have really been having a blast.
Time is just flying by! I cannot believe there are only 1.5 months until I start with the bloodwork and tests at ORM, only 2 months until I start B/C. ONLY 3 months until the whole process begins.
I am so thankful for the distractions the Lord has given me. I am truly enjoying every moment of my life and look forward to what is to come. God is so very good, all the time :)
Happy fouth of July EVERYONE!!!!

I guess it's good...
Well, it's back to cycle day 1. Dear AF paid me a visit- exactly 15 DPO- making it a 14 day LP. Pretty good... Exactly the same cycle length as last time to. SO obviously SOMETHING is going on in there... It's frustrating because our BD was timed perfectly- ugh... oh well. God has someting- someone else in store.
In other news, our doctor wrote out a letter of medical necessity for my condition to my insurance to see if they will cover more of the diagnosis and treatment for infertility, IVF- so that would be a HUGE blessing, I don't know how long it will take to learn if they will help out at all, but it certainly doesn't hurt to try.
Brian and I are singing a special song at church Sunday, then VBS starts. After that I am visiting some out of state family, and coming home to celebrate my birthday with friends and family- OH and the 4th of July! It is going to get pretty crazy!!! Which right now is exactly what I need :)

18 months old (in 2 days)
I can't believe my baby is almost 1 1/2!!!! I took these pics at my mom's house :) He looks so much like my older brother when he was that age.
His 18 month well baby check up is on the 13th- He is doing so well. I am so proud of him. This morning he kept saying "seriously" lol he loves puzzles, coloring with chalk outside, collecting rocks (and putting them in his mouth)and snugging :)
I am a happy mama.
Today is 8 DPO, 6 days until AF should arrive... that means only 2 more cycles until we go back to Oregon Reproductive :)
Praying for continued patience...

it got even darker!
So maybe that one looked positive, but todays is even MORE positive- So I guess if there was even a shadow of a doubt with yesterday's test today's is chrystal clear!
Here is yesterday's test (on top) and today's test (on bottom)

And here is the last 24 hours worth of tests (yes... I might be a pee-a-holic)

I took them about 4 hours apart. My LH is a little all over the place.... But todays's is really clear :) WOO HOO!!!
It feels so late in my cycle to be getting a positive... but I guess better late than never. If it's CD20 now, then I guess that means I will be looking for AF around CD 34-35 so June 15th- ish! I can't wait to see what my body does!!!!

CD 19 : if I didn't see it with my own eyes I wouldn't believe it.
WELL we are back from our trip to Nevada. It was so relaxing and fun!!! Brian's dad, my FIL works at a Gold mine and took us there for a tour. I didn't know how interesting it would be. We ofcourse had to be dressed in mining gear lol, and let me tell you, I ROCKED that hard hat, safety goggles and reflective vest like no other hehehe. We also played lots of cards, visited many parks and RELAXED. We were going to go shooting ( i have yet to ever fire a gun) I was really looking forward to it, but a storm came in.. a really big one so we were forced inside...
Here is me rocking my gear

and Brian :)

Standing in the BUCKET of one of the shovels on the big truck... just the bucket!

This is me climbing up into one of the loaders. I took a ride with a really sweet woman named Linda. She took me on a few trips to dump the 360 tons in the back of our truck lol

And the view at the top of the mine. Keep in mind, those rigs below have TIRES 2x's the size of a grown man!

NOW to the reason you probably are reading this blog lol. As you know I am taking the soy this cycle. I tried to stay on board with the lemon water and peppermint tea, but have been a little irregular with those. I have stuck with my geritol and folic acid though. I start my OPK's on CD 14 ( I have ALWAYS been a later ovulator with natural cycles) and FINALLY today, just when I was ready to chuck this cycle out the window i got THIS this morning!
taken a few moments after peeing on it lol

HOPEFULLY this means I really will ovulate. I had been feeling that oh so familiar feeling in my right ovary the last few days, and PLENTY of EWCM! WOO HOO Go God GO!!!!
On the Ronan front- He did surprisingly well on the trip. Minus the allergies to the flying dust everywhere, he was a happy boy and stayed on his schedule like clockwork. However, he is VERY happy to be home. He woke up in his own crib this morning after being on the road for a total of 22+ hours smiling and FULL of energy... and mischief ofcourse ;)
